Core Description: Coordinates and assists with attracting and referring candidates for open positions through career website, employee referrals, job-boards, social networks and other sourcing methods. Creates job advertisements and postings. Facilitates pre-employment assessments and background screening. Launches offer letters and coordinates new hire onboarding. Delivers marketing programs that establish a recognizable employer of choice brand reputation for the company, both internally and externally.
Essential Job Functions:
Provides Recruiting Support:
  • Manages the Sigma Associate Referral Program.
  • Creates and maintains job postings on a variety of web sites and within the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Coordinates career fair participation.
  • Assists with resume review, candidate sourcing, candidate screenings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
Manages the Onboarding Process:
  • Collects/coordinates all new hire onboarding paperwork, including I-9s.
  • Creates documentation for new hire orientation day.
  • Sends/Monitors background check requests.
  • Launches offer letters and coordinates new hire onboarding, maintaining daily oversight of all related pre-hire orientation activities.
Employer Marketing:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure consistent messaging and employer branding.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our company culture, values, and goals to effectively convey our unique identity to prospective candidates.
  • Applies customary marketing communication methods to attract, engage, and nurture potential candidates.
  • Manage career site and social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) to maintain an active online presence and improve employer brand awareness.
  • Research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor practices, and emerging social media platforms to identify new opportunities for reaching potential candidates.
  • Create content, including but not limited to blog posts, videos, infographics, and social media posts, that convey Sigma's employer value proposition.
