GENERAL PURPOSE:

Route incoming and inter-office calls, locate office personnel, maintain reception area, and provide professional levels of customer service to LABO staff, vendors, and visitors. Manage sample pick up by vendors and assist with additional tasks as assigned.

The base pay range for this role is $16.11 - $23.17. The base pay range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Handle incoming and inter-office phone calls using switchboard system

  • Provide customer service to, LABO staff, vendors and visitors to reception areas. Maintain a friendly and professional environment in reception.

  • Coordinate help desk calls and assist with special administrative projects as assigned

  • Locate office personnel as needed.

  • Assist with mail room- handling vendors picking up and dropping off samples.

  • Assist in managing conference room calendars.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in high volume corporate office utilizing multi-line switchboard.

  • Strong emphasis on customer service, both via the phone and in person, to both internal and external customers.

  • Ability to provide the positive interaction necessitated in a reception area, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.

  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite programs is desirable

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

This role requires full-time in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. This position requires the ability to use a computer, work as part of a team, and the ability to communicate with team members and others. Regular attendance also is a requirement of the position.
