Quality Supervisor Jobs

As a Quality Supervisor you will have the opportunity to manage quality operations, including planning, organizing, and executing activities to drive production and customer improvements.

So, what will you be doing as a Quality Supervisor?

• Lead quality assurance of products
• Maintain quality inspection equipment
• Assist management with KPI definitions
• Determine disposition of nonconforming product and maintain nonconforming log
• Supervise, train, direct, and evaluate work activity of all Quality Assurance employees
• Collaborate cross functionally to ensure product compliance and conformity
• Establish inspection protocols and identify/record problems relating to the product, process, or quality system
• Implement and assure compliance with LP9000:2011 Management System

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Strong analytical skills and application of seven (7) QC tools, PDCA, and DMAIC
• Ability to maintain a cooperative attitude and good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of six sigma methodology
• 1 year supervising a team of quality inspectors
• 3 years relevant Quality experience in manufacturing environment
• Effectively apply knowledge in operational troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
• Keep communication skills – both written and verbal
