What would the Quality Control Coordinator do?
The Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for proactively ensuring quality and safety are maintained in defined policies, procedures, and work instructions by conducting planned and unannounced inspections. The Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for quality control and oversight of the project.

What would be the duties that I need to perform?

  • Ensure compliance with all environmental health and safety regulations and keep abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Re-inspect serviced areas, close out inspections, and report to management noticing trends.
  • Develop and/or maintain and implement quality procedures and safety policies and procedures, based upon contract requirements and any applicable Corporate and/or statutory/regulatory requirements pertinent to the site. Measure, monitor, and analyze the processes and implement actions necessary to meet goals and roles and responsibilities, driving continual improvement.
  • Positively promote the health, safety, and well-being of staff and facility occupants. Provide onsite employee training and investigate all employee work-related accidents and incidents and implement corrective action to prevent a recurrence.
  • Comply with the site safety program, which includes conducting monthly safety meetings, training, and hazard inspections and assessments Comply with the site/contract environmental program which includes environmental site assessments, facility inspections, and hazardous waste control in accordance with state, federal, and regulatory environmental requirements.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to ensure employees are following G5-42 protocols, and properly handling hazardous, undiluted cleaning materials.

What compliance requirements would I have to follow?

  • Ensure that the custodial project is compliant with all State, Federal, and Companywide policies.

What the preferred Knowledge would be?

  • Working Knowledge of Federal contracting and federal customers, including FBI.
  • Ability to read and understand labels and instructions, particularly on the use and application of chemicals and products.
  • Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment
  • Experience with safety regulations and standards; root cause analysis, data analysis; and preventative/corrective action.
  • Knowledge of the use of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)

What my Physical Demands would be?
The Quality Control Coordinator is a physically demanding position. While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The Incumbent is frequently required to use their hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects tools, or controls. The incumbent must spend the entire time at work standing, walking, lifting heavy objects, operating medium-weight cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, sweeping and mopping floors, and moving desks and furniture. The incumbent is required to do a great deal of stretching and bending, often in awkward positions.

Note: Operating floor polishers and waxing equipment are particularly hard on back muscles.

The incumbent must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Stress may be caused by day-to-day activities and by coming across unpleasant situations.

What would the environmental demands be?
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations will be made. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the environment may be very loud.

What would the background screening demands be?
Must submit to a background check prior to hire and ongoing as dictated by the contract. Must be able to pass criminal and drug screening processes to meet current contract eligibility requirements that apply.
