MANA is the world’s leading contract and private label cosmetics manufacturer of color cosmetics, skincare, and hair care. We are currently seeking a QC Chemist to join our team.

What you will do

Evaluate shades of manufactured batches against the product standard and suggest color adjustments when the shade of the batch is off of standard. The ideal candidate will be will be proficient in color matching, color wheels and color spectrum.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Conduct investigations related to production batches and come up with ideas to solve problems in the short and long term.
• Makes judgment based on knowledge and experience as to the accuracy and reliability of analytical results and advise the adjustment needed for the production batches.
• Assure that bulk batches, finished products, and raw materials meet the established sample specifications and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Familiar with several products including but not limited to powders, lipsticks, mascara, eyeliner, foundations, skincare, and other on-trend products from formulation to production.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent experience
• Must be able to evaluate shades of manufactured batches against the product standard and suggest color adjustments when the shade of the batch is off.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in developing color cosmetics and skincare formulas
• Familiar with GMP and GLP
