Job Description
Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst is responsible for the creation, execution, and documentation of tests to identify issues with software development prior to its promotion to the production environment. This includes the design of test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures as well as the documentation of defects using a bug tracking system. The QA Analyst will identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, User Interface, or content.
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Recommend improvements to software for enhancement.
  • Analyze and document bugs, defects, and errors found during testing.
  • Create and execute tests and test plans to identify software defects/bugs.
  • Work together with Business Analyst(s) and developer(s) to enhance and improve software functionality and process improvement/efficiency.
  • Stay apprised of relevant product knowledge to support team’s current and future development goals.
Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but relevant experience considered.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience testing, documenting, and tracking code development in Azure DevOps preferred.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Great team player able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in software development and testing preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer technology (and programming languages preferred).
  • Exceptional attention to detail with good time-management skills
