Title: Quality Assurance Associate I

Department: Quality Assurance

Reports To: Director of Quality Assurance

I. Essential Duties & Responsibilities May Include

• Release, reject, and quarantine raw materials and packaging components
• Work with departmental personnel on the auditing of internal processes against internal procedures and document discrepancies
• Support equipment validations and qualifications
• Perform duties assigned while adhering to operating and safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Maintain Asset Management Database and Schedule
• Generate and review logbooks
• Participate in client audits as needed
• Perform production line clearances
• Review outsourced analytical data

II. Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and documentation
• Good organization and time management skills
• Be self-motivated, willing to learn, diligent, have a positive attitude
• Computer skills: must be able to learn new software; must also be adept at Microsoft Office

III. Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related science

Experience

• 0-5 years in pharmaceutical industry
