Quality Associate I Jobs

Azzur Lab is looking for a Quality Associate who will support the company’s quality assurance and control programs. The Quality Specialist is responsible for document review and control, inventory control, and quality control of incoming materials. The Quality Specialist will assist the Quality Director in assuring that the quality management system is implemented and followed.

Responsibilities:

• Assures proper control of laboratory documentation.
• Ships media and equipment to clients and schedules onsite sampling.
• Assists in conducting investigations of laboratory deviations and client exceeded concern levels.
• Manages equipment acquisition, schedules calibrations, and performs preventative maintenance and equipment qualifications.
• Responsible for assisting in the conduct of internal audits.
• Maintains familiarity with laboratory testing as needed for review.
• Ensures all incoming materials are tested and found to be of acceptable quality before use.
• May draft or review client notifications of exceeded levels.
• Collaborates with the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality systems.
• Reviews documentation, such as raw data and reports, quality control records, and quality assurance records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with methods, protocols, guidelines, regulations, and Azzur Labs, LLC quality systems.
• Maintains training records and documentation.

Required Education:

• Bachelors of Science or Bachelors of Arts in the field of the life sciences.

Required Work Experience:

• 1- 2 years experience in Quality Management.
