- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Team up with warehouse team to meet the demands of the processing center and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
- Objectives of this Role
- In charge of receiving, handling, storing, data entry, picking and packing activities
- Adheres to Agency Policy and Procedures
- Is always Forward Thinking
- Receiving of donated and purchased product
- Safety first
- Communicate logistics to transport products to ReStore locations and ensure timely deliveries
- Performs duties as workload necessitates
- Processing of unsorted product, labelling and staging merchandise for transfers
- Works collaboratively with other team members
- Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Attention to detail
- Follows OSHA and Safety policies
- Meets Organizational productivity standards and timelines
- Train other warehouse team members
- Work on-site in support of team
- Ensures quality standards are met consistently
- Helps recycle and diverts items from landfill
- Other duties as assigned
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency with ReStore satisfaction being the primary goal
- All product being transferred from warehouse to destination should be for replenishment
- Communicates regularly with Warehouse Supervisor about workload and any issues
- Able to multi-task
- Collaborate with all team members
- Daily cleaning of warehouse
- Keeps maintenance records on equipment
- Mindful of inventory and inventory control
- Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload
- Operates warehouse equipment effectively (forklift, pallet jacks, floor dollies, box trucks, etc.)
- Performs by being Service Oriented
- Proficient computer skills
- Help achieve daily activities of the warehouse including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping and ReStore service
- Professional communication with all ReStore location and logistics team
- Consistently reports to work on time and prepared to perform duties of position
- Ability to work with all levels of AHFH staff
- Excellent problem solving skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid drivers license
- 3+ years experience in a warehouse environment
- Knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Forklift certified
