The ideal candidate will have:
· At least 5 years of experience in purchasing and supply chain management in the electronics or RF industry.
· Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
· Familiarity with ERP and inventory management systems.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
· A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Hire, train, develop and evaluate staff.
· Oversee day-to-day departmental operations.
· Resolve issues and problems within purchasing/inventory/receiving.
· Participates via management meetings in development, implementation and maintenance of company policies, objectives and short- and long-range planning.
· Part of the ISO Sr. Management Team, involved in all facets of quality system, maintaining ISO certification.
· Using advanced negotiation skills, obtain products and services for Crescend of the best quality for the greatest value.
· Create purchase orders in ERP (Epicor) software and maintain manual records as required.
· For blanket PO's, set up delivery/releases in system per production planning schedules.
· Using MRP software, perform ongoing/daily reviews of parameters and inventory levels.
· Maintains min/max levels on critical components.
· Report monthly KPI's (key performance indicators).
· Manage and coordinate multiple sourcing projects.
· Coordinates yearend inventory count.
· Work with Engineering Department on new designs and design revisions.
· Process Non-Conformances relative to obsolete parts.
· Process New Model Approval Forms.
· Seek out Secondary Source Suppliers.
· Review drawings.
· Sends files to suppliers when processing Requests For Quotes.
· As part of ISO certification, work with suppliers on any defective or incorrect product received.
· Generate Corrective Action Requests as needed.
· Follow up with suppliers on any open issues.
· Perform quarterly evaluation of supplier performance.
· Interpersonal skills such as leadership, problem solving, and teamwork.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: BS/BA with 5 year Purchasing experience
Competent: BS/BA with 10+ years Purchasing experience
SKILLS:
Minimum: Strong organizational skills, negotiation skills, communication skills
Must be familiar with MRP and enterprise management software.
