Purchasing Assistant I, Research

Responsibilities

Research and purchase equipment, goods, and services requisitioned by Research Institute staff; input/verify information from requisitions and purchase orders to facilitate the acquisition process; input/verify contract pricing and other data fields in the Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP), related websites, and tracking documents; assist requisitions with returns; run reports and monitor vendor returns, incomplete/incorrect, and past due orders.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent experience - Minimum three (3) years of related experience in the areas of customer service and/or office management including administrative work supporting senior level staff or management Required Credentials: - N/A Preferred: - Associate's Degree - At least one (1) year purchasing or related work experience with emphasis on research lab supplies and equipment - Healthcare/medical office and project management assistance experience - Familiarity with clinical and research laboratory equipment and materials

Min to Max Hourly Salary

$21. 30 - $31.94 /hr

Min to Max Annual Salary

$44,304.00 - $66,435.20 /yr

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

Seattle Children's offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
