RP is hiring a Proposal Writer to assist our growth team. The person in this role will be responsible for creating, customizing, and revising content that enhances technical and management sections, staffing, quality, and performance plans, as well as past performance and resume sections. They will need to incorporate our distinct win themes and strategic messaging into each proposal, effectively communicating out story through engaging content. This position necessitates someone who can easily adjust and respond to changing priorities, new obstacles, and strict deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Translate technical information and business jargon into clear, consistent, and grammatically correct content
• Capture, shape and synthesize information to reflect a cohesive message, written in one voice
• Demonstrate an ability to sift through a discussion, extracting the most significant information and action items
• Prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Support priority bid opportunities for new business pursuits
• Engage with pursuit teams strategically, posing questions that encourage a team to consider all aspects of the client’s position and draw out essential messaging
• Write executive summaries and materials that articulate our strategic messaging in a compelling and persuasive manner

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• The ability to work for any US employer without requiring sponsorship
• 3- 5 years of writing experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with federal proposal writing
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• APMP Certification
• Graphic experience
• Technical writing experience
