Project Management is the internal agency engine, linking all agency functions and managing projects end-to-end to deliver a high volume of projects on-time and on budget. Project Management works closely with Account Management, Creative, and Production to help deliver WDPR business results and strengthen the Yellow Shoes agency’s reputation.

The Work

• Ensure the team is aware of the timing implications on requested changes and communicate to all
• Proactively call out scheduling, resource, or other issues well in advance and offer up creative solutions for addressing them
• Lead weekly status meetings with core team to ensure everyone is aware of where projects are in the pipeline and near-term deliverables
• Impacted partners
• Develop detailed project schedules and ensure that Account, Creative, and Production are aligned and aware of key project milestones. Update timelines as needed and call out potential conflicts.
• Partner with Account Management to initiate projects in Workfront
• When developing timelines, ensure that internal and external partner input is accounted for (Public Relations, Public Affairs, Customer Engagement, Pixar, etc.)
• Act as the liaison between Account, Creative, and Business Affairs to ensure all work is being vetted at the appropriate stages
• Shepherd projects from beginning to end as the established “go to” person on progress and status, and ensure projects are updated in Workfront as milestones are met
• Follow up with teams to ensure revisions are being made and shared with CDs and Creative VP prior to the next regroup

Required Qualifications

• Strong at viewing both the big picture while still being extremely detail oriented; highly accountable to delivering what is expected on-time
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Motivated self-starter, ability to work independently with minimum direction.
• 3+ years of professional marketing, ad agency, project management, or related experience
• Effective relationship-building skills with Account, Creative, and Production peers, and the ability to influence and leverage those relationships to get the work done; seen as a core part of the team
• Strong knowledge of communication mediums including video, print, digital, social, email, collateral, OOH, and the production process supporting each
• Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills, not just adhering to project dates that have been established, with a sense of urgency
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to effectively lead a high volume of projects and related tactics once they come into the agency... owning the details and timelines from project inception to delivery
• Possess a thorough knowledge of the full agency process and the ability to be flexible... looking at all project deliverables to determine overlap, find efficiencies, and prioritize across work businesses and projects

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, Ca is $92,742.00 to $124,410.00 per year. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
