Job Description
The Tsui Group is seeking a candidate who is qualified and experienced in construction projects to serve as a Project Manager I for a large public facility client within Los Angeles County with the below duties:


  • Work experience in project planning and development
  • Must be knowledgeable in CEQA/NEPA
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and prepare change orders
  • Ability to develop and control project scope
  • Ability to set and manage project expectations
  • Ability to adapt and respond effectively to project issues and challenges
  • Ability to develop and maintain project budgets
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Skilled in reviewing and coordinating the preparation of construction documents
  • Ability to effectively facilitate project team and client meetings
  • Ability to independently manage all aspects of a project
  • Ability to develop and review project schedules
  • Manage Infrastructure Improvement projects in the Transportation Core Service Area
  • Ability to effectively monitor and coordinate construction activities with the various project stakeholders


Requirements


Minimum Required Qualifications:


  • Licensed professional or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Education background in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of project management and concurrent field construction experience


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Deferred Maintenance/Refurbishment projects
  • Design-Bid-Build project delivery
  • Knowledge of Public Contracting Code and practices
  • Experience in Job Order Contracting (JOC) project delivery
