Project Manager - Tampa

RYVAN Recruiting is looking for a Construction Project Manager who will be responsible for managing key client projects between Tampa and Ft Myers, FL. The PM will oversee the coordination and completion of multiple construction projects with a focus on custom metal fabrication to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and scope as well as set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize the progress of the project.
Responsibilities

• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
• Track project performance and analyze the successful completion of goals
• Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of a project.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Use and continually develop leadership skills
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within the scope, and within budget
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Delegate project tasks based on staff members' individual strengths, skill sets
• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Proficient with multi-unit, commercial and residential projects
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• 3-4 years working experience in project management within the Construction Industry
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Division 5 - Miscellaneous Metals preferred
