About Our Client
Our client is a well-known General Contractor in the St. Louis area. They focus on projects in the multifamily, senior living, and affordable housing spaces. They have a strong pipeline of project work for 2023. Due to this pipeline, they're looking to add an experienced and driven construction project manager to the team immediately. As a project manager with the project group, you'll help lead multiple projects across the St. Louis area.

• Make sure that all work is completed in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and building codes.
• Coordinate the resources needed for the project, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Identifying and mitigating risks that could impact the projects success such as developing contingency plans and ensuring all team members are aware of potential risks.
• Creating a detailed project plan that outlines the scope of work, project schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Identifying the right suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating contracts, and managing their performance.
• Travel to job sites as needed.
• Obtaining necessary permits and ensuring that all work is inspected and approved by the appropriate authorities.
• Document management and logging including safety documentation, submittals, drawing logs, RFIs, transmittal's, close out documents, meeting minutes.

The Successful Applicant

• Organized
• Minimal travel but must be willing to travel to job sites as necessary
• Experience working on ground-up commercial and/or healthcare projects is a plus
• Procore proficient
• 3-5+ years of construction experience working for a general contractor
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field highly preferred
