  • Manage alerts that arise between Viatris and its customers and oversee timely resolution. Utilize and provide continuous development to the ticketing system for alerts management and provide metrics around the various types of alerts being processed and resolved.
  • Responsible for the uniform implementation of all assigned projects and manages definition and planning. Lead the creation of project management plans that clearly define the project scope, assumptions, risks and overall project approach (including project resource needs, high level timelines, and project communications).
  • Ensure integration of serialization business processes with existing Viatris business processes, including, but not limited to, manufacturing warehouse, packaging operations and quality.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing standard user requirements and implementation guidelines.
  • On a regional basis, apply professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead and manage project teams and control project schedule, cost, and performance risks to ensure successful execution.
  • Responsible for measuring and delivering project outcomes successfully. Implements and/or adapts processes and metrics to ensure project goals and objectives are achieved. Sets performance objectives and incorporates feedback from team and organization for continuous improvement.
  • Issue and communicate project status to project steering committee and other stakeholders as appropriate. Manages project issues/risks in a timely manner and appropriately escalating when necessary.
  • Responsible for facilitating the onboarding activities with 3rd party suppliers/CMOs and maintaining collaborative working relationships to ensure compliance with serialization requirements for the North America markets.


Key responsibilities for this role include:


  • None required. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents. Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence. Ability to work with managers or directors and communicate ambiguous concepts. Ability to present to groups across the organization.
  • Normal office situation.
  • Must possess knowledge of current serialization process and solutions best practices, and how to implement them in a Global Pharmaceutical environment.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in related field (Engineering, Program Management, or similar) or comparable discipline and minimum of 6 years of experience. 5 years of experience or expertise in project management and packaging, experience in technical, operational and project budget and scheduling management. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
  • Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis. Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.
  • Typically sitting at a desk or table. Intermittently sitting, standing, walking or stooping. Periodic travel is required. May be required to stand; walk; stoop; bend; kneel; and climb steps. May require use of hands and use of arms. Sedentary lifting requirements.
  • Must possess expert-level skills in the design and implementation of Serialization Solution components. Must possess expert skills in packaging engineering. Must be capable of building consensus between diverse global locations and packaging capabilities. Must possess supervisory, project management, management proficiency, process improvement, budget expense tracking, planning, and strong communication skills. Experience in using tools such as Microsoft suites, Gantt chart, GMP practice, etc. required.
  • Ability to perform computations such as percentages, ratios, and rates, as well as perform statistical analysis. Ability to draw and interpret graphical data.
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
  • Position reports to the Director of the NA Serialization Program. Position functions semi-autonomously with no direct supervisory responsibilities.


Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is: $78,000.00 - $152,000.00 USD.
