Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager - HVAC Installation

Job Overview:


We are seeking a Project Manager to lead our team at Tameer, Inc. a general contracting company that specializes in HVAC system installations in New York. The ideal candidate should be a seasoned project management professional with experience in the construction industry, possess excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, and be able to oversee the successful completion of projects on-time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Select and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Attend meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to discuss project progress, changes, and issues.
  • Develop project schedules, track progress, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and purchase orders.
  • Mentor and coach team members to ensure high-quality work, and ensure that all staff adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide regular project status reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations, codes, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
  • Manage project budgets and control costs through regular financial tracking and reporting.


Requirements:


  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with project stakeholders and team members.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry, with experience in HVAC system installations.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
  • In-depth knowledge of government regulations, codes, and safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
