Project Manager Jobs

Position Description:
The Project Manager focuses on providing consulting, software implementation and project management oversight to clients in Residential and Commercial real estate and Real Estate Investment Management markets. This is a dynamic role with a heavy focus on managing mid to large-scale implementation projects. However, the role incorporates a blend of project management, business requirements analysis, system configuration, and user training/support activities. It is best suited for a hands-on project manager who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves. Ideal candidates will have significant experience implementing industry-leading software packages (Yardi, MRI, RealPage, etc.).
Responsibilities
Develop project plans and manage the implementation within budget and timeline
Effectively manage client and team expectations, lead status meetings and facilitate project meetings
Manage scope changes and scope creep
Manage and coach project team consisting of functional and technical resources
Analyze client business needs and assist in developing requirements and specifications for setup, configuration, software customization and systems integration
Manage system testing and rollout activities
Apply extensive knowledge of real estate industry best practices while serving as a consultant and advisor to the client
Identify up-sell opportunities and help clients understand the associated value propositions
Mentor peers and project team members on industry, product, and consulting skills
Skills/Requirements
Prior experience in a consulting role preferred
Experience implementing real estate software systems with medium to high complexity
Comprehensive knowledge of real estate, financial, and IT management best practices
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple mid-size projects ($100k-$500k) or significant large-scale projects ( >$1MM) Alternatively, experience in managing an equivalent department or business line.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills that are modified to meet client needs and level of expertise and sophistication
Ability to manage a mix of resources including project team members, client, consultants
Ability to effectively interface with clients at Senior levels Directors, VPs, C-level and Owners
Bachelors degree in accounting, computer science, or equivalent relevant experience
Position is being sourced on a national basis.
Applicant must have the ability to travel to client sites when needed.
