Description


WBD Global Content Operations are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Project Manager to join the Content Operations Strategy & Change Team in LA. The Content Operations Strategy and Change Team provide business analysis, business process improvement, project implementation and technology partner engagement to enable the Global Content Operations team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage allocated projects for GCO, ensuring successful planning, approval and implementation reporting to the Program Manager Global Content Ops Strategy & Change. The core projects this role will initially manage are the Shield Program, FAST channels launch, Global Deliverables project. This role will coordinate subject matter experts, project teams and senior management stakeholders including internal and 3rd party services providers and technology vendors based locally and globally, spanning multiple time zones.


Key Responsibilities


The percentages allocated below are for guidance and will vary depending on the initiative being worked on.


Strategic planning 10 %


Collaborate with key partners to ensure successful project delivery


BRM/ stakeholder management 30%


Stakeholder and Participant management. Liaison between stakeholders, operating and technology teams (including 3rd party vendors) ensuring that all parties have the information needed to be able to do their jobs, make effective and metrics-based decisions. Collaborate with technology strategy provisioning manager to understand wider tech roadmap and implications for project delivery Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals and objectives are met


Project Management 60 %


Project Leadership and Delivery management: Support the on-going portfolio of projects helping to ensure that it is meeting the strategic direction of GCO as set by the executive management of WBD and its project sponsors. Delivery of component workstreams of globally led strategic initiatives is also a key responsibility within this role along with the oversight of financial management and responsibility of projects. Project Sequencing and Loading: Ensure the project sequencing process is consistent with overall strategy as well as operational and engineering needs and specifications. Advise of changes and variations due to delivery timing changes, advise and manage 3rd party expectations and needs. Advise management and stakeholders on loading and capacity of projects and advise on how new projects will fit into existing and future roadmap plans. Program & Project Definition, Plan and Execution: For projects under direct management create detailed project plans and manage the execution of the plans to a successful conclusion ensuring that the gaps between projects but still within the programs are managed and brought within the projects.


Skills And Requirements


Bachelors Degree or equivalent related work experience


Minimum Of 3 Years Of Project Management Experience Required


Experience in delivery of business change and improvement projects.


Experience in project budgeting, financial tracking and reporting.


Experience in resource estimation and planning.


Experience in risk mitigation and issue management.


Experience using SharePoint, Visio, Microsoft Project concepts or other project management apps, including Planview AdaptiveWork (formerly known as Clarizen) PPM.


General knowledge of meeting facilitation (agenda, meeting outcomes, actions capture, etc.) and presentation skills.


Experience in content preparation and distribution.


DESIRABLE


Business and technical experience in the broadcast/content preparation/distribution/media industry.


Experience working and collaborating effectively in a Project Management Office environment across multiple time zones.


This person must have a willingness to do what it takes to support the business. Due to the time pressures and Global nature of the company, there may be out of hours requirements. Hours can be made flexible where possible to accommodate these needs. This person is acting as an ambassador for WarnerBros Discovery and will need to ensure that they represent the business in the best possible way and are at all times looking to ensure the best stewardship of the resources available.
