MindPoint Group is looking for a motivated project management analyst to assist our client with maintaining their ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ISO 20000-1:2018 Service Management System (SMS) certifications. Successful candidates will be highly organized, independently driven, and able to work collaboratively with client leadership and the team to organize tasks, ensure continual progress of initiatives, and assist the team in achieving their annual recertification goals.
What you get to do every day:
- Ensure annual external audit readiness by preparing process and/or service owners as well as confirming documentation and/or evidence is organized and available; this includes but is not limited to maintaining a repository of artifacts in the selected tool, e.g., Microsoft SharePoint.
- Support process and service owners during internal audits.
- Assist the team with updating processes and procedures for compliance with updated standards as applicable.
- Assist the team with developing corrective action plans and supporting implementation of identified activities to resolve audit findings.
- Support implementation of improvements that are identified during management review meetings, internal and external audits, integrated program team meetings, or as directed by leadership by taking meeting minutes, recording action items, and ensuring actions are worked to completion.
- Identify, record, track, and manage risks to certification efforts as well as related mitigations; escalate as necessary to team leads and/or client POCs.
- Lead team tag ups to solicit and record status updates from team members.
- Research related ISO standards to enhance your understanding of the requirements and provide context to the team’s activities and audit results.
- Identify, record, prioritize, track, and manage all tasks and milestones according to identified schedules.
Qualifications
**US Citizen, must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance required**
What skills are required?
- Bachelors degree plus 1 year of experience in a project management-oriented role
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build and maintain productive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required as a condition of employment
- Demonstrated experience leveraging exceptional organizational skills to keep projects on track, to include completion of all tasks and meeting all milestones
- Attention to detail, including demonstrated experience producing 100% complete and accurate work products
Location:
- This role is remote and will require travel to DC to be onsite for audits approximately 10% of the time.
