Project Country Registration Specialist
LHH is currently partnering with a nonprofit organization in Washington DC looking to bring on an interim Project Manager/ Country Registration Specialist. This is a contract position running from July- November. This position has the abililty to work remote, east coast hours. The hourly pay for the position is between $23-$27hr based on experience. The ideal candidate will have experience and or an interest in International Development. Strong experience handling project management, compliance, managing deadlines, and reporting. Strong written skills and excellent communication. Experience utilizing SharePoint or Smartsheet is a bonus. Please apply today for more info!
Responsibilities:
- Assist with additional projects as needed
- Work on complex data projects and research needs
- Educate and train staff on requirements and processes to provide importance of registration and compliance need
- Work closely with team members to expand opportunities and portfolio throughout new countries, managing business development
- Establish and maintain relationships with local team members to ensure projects are running smoothly
- Severe at point person for inquiries and requests
- Ensure all projects are in compliance with local legal regulations and local laws
- Develop strategies and present to leadership to help internal/external issues
- Manage registration process for countries and build relationships to ensure all are in compliance with law
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with United States Government (USG) regulations preferred
- Experience with registrations preferred.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to influence, motivate, negotiate and work well with others.
- Ability to research, analyze and communicate complex information including local laws and legal opinions, USAID regulations, HR guidelines and corporate policies and procedures.
- 2+ years of Project Management Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in Business Administration, International Development or Related Field.
