Project Coordinator & Jr. UX Researcher
Position: Full-time
Location: Austin, Texas
Start date: September 5th, 2023(flexible)
As we are expanding our office in Austin, Texas, we are now looking for a new team member. If you are passionate about UX research, if you are curious and open-minded towards different cultures and interested in joining a research agency with great colleagues and an international team - then you might be the right fit to join us.
The job requires a high degree of flexibility, but it goes both ways in terms of working hours and location to keep a good work/life balance. As a Project Coordinator and Jr. UX Researcher, you will play a vital role in supporting on UX research projects worldwide. You will collaborate closely with our experienced research team, project managers, and local partners to ensure the successful execution of projects. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of UX research and project coordination, working with a diverse range of clients and projects. In this role you will:
- Potentially travel into field to execute projects as needed together with our local teams.
- Coordinate logistics, including participant recruitment, scheduling, and preparation of research materials.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging research methodologies.
- Collaborate with the research team to analyze and synthesize data as well as assist in the creation of research reports.
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing UX research projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Some experience or coursework in UX research methodologies, such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, and data analysis.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment with local and international colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards challenges.
- Strong interest in UX research and understanding user behavior.
- Must be flexible around working hours - we start work early to overlap with the office in Copenhagen and sometimes evening meetings are needed due to the international nature of our work.
- Ability/desire to travel into field to help execute projects as needed.
- Recent graduate from a Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or a related discipline).
