Project Assistant Jobs

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Project Assistant position located in Amarillo, Texas. The Project Assistant will be responsible for general office duties (filing, scanning, copying, reproduction orders, shipping) and assist departments as needed.
The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have a High School diploma and at least 1 year of office or clerical experience.
Local candidates preferred or open to relocation. This is not a remote position.
Project Assistant Responsibilities

• Track and log potential subcontractors’ safety data.
• Assist with expense reports.
• Facilitate project’s quarterly safety audits.
• General office duties (filing, scanning, copying, reproduction orders, shipping).
• Maintain calendars.
• Scheduling meetings, lunch & learn setup, greeting clients.
• Review certificates of insurance to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to compile pre-mobilization safety documentation.
• Support Project Manager with needs as requested.
• Correspond with project teams for deliverable documents.
• Track, log and distribute construction documentation (RFI’s, shop drawings, etc.)
• Attend project meetings.
• Compile project documents/project deliverables for submission to clients and/or subcontractors.

Requirements of the Project Assistant:

• Minimum of one-year applicable office/clerical experience preferred.
• Applicable experience may be substituted for education requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint required.
• High school diploma or equivalent, 2-year degree preferred.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring future sponsorship for employment visa status.
