Job Description
Project Assistant
Deacon Construction is looking for a motivated Project Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience working for a General Contractor and be familiar with contracts, schedules, change orders, insurance tracking and other responsibilities relating to commercial construction projects. You must be dependable, detail oriented, self-directed and able to multitask while dealing with frequent interruptions. Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), highly organized and promote a fun and professional work environment.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Works well with various task and deadlines
  • This role will also help with managing our reception desk and answering the phones
  • Experience working for a General Contractor or Subcontractor in Commercial Construction
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Positive Attitude
  • Ability to multitask with several deadlines
