This is a great opportunity to work with a leading EPC on Mega projects in LNG, Petrochemical, Oil, Gas, Offshore, Onshore projects. We are seeking a Project Controls Specialist to produce and maintain P6 schedules, risk analysis, change management, schedule analysis, critical path

The Project Controls Specialist is responsible for:

• Actively manage cost forecasts; raise, and facilitate the trend process; updates forecast and cost flow
• Resource load discreet schedule activities, based on estimated hours. Ensure overall discipline task durations are workable and achievable given resource constraints.
• Review each schedule activity with project stakeholders to confirm logic and duration, including equipment fabrication and delivery.
• Calculate, explain, and report variances, performance, and other project metrics, including Cost Performance Index, Schedule Performance Index, and Work Performance Index
• Create, update, and analyze project engineering, procurement, and construction schedules and schedule reports.
• Or modify Project Controls Plan, cost analyst section, as part of the Project Execution Plan.
• Facilitates and guides Interactive Planning Sessions, where key project stakeholders plan and discuss the major project tasks, interaction with other tasks, and the duration and timing of such tasks utilizing NetPoint.
• Establish, maintain, and update cost control budgets, actuals, and forecasts within cost control system
• Incorporate customer activities, milestones, etc.
• Develop and issue the project baseline schedule, analysis, and basis.
• Interact with engineering, procurement, construction, customer, and project stakeholders, obtaining activity progress. Update the project schedule, usually weekly.
• Develop and maintain engineering and services staffing plans
• Develop and maintain detailed procurement vendor logic schedules.
• Develop, update, and monitor deliverable earned progress data and reports with engineering discipline leads
• Develop and maintain detailed construction execution schedules, Advance Work Packaging, turnover, commissioning, and start-up activities. Ability to create and maintain detail turnaround schedules.
