The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary

The Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center is looking to hire a Project Assistant.

Responsibilities

The Project Assistant will study the neuro-signaling pathway in lung epithelial cells, and how this is affected by aneuploidy.

Duties include:

  • Perform other duties as needed.
  • Perform independent research.
  • Present internally (and at school) about work.
  • Handle related data analyses as needed.
  • Maintain lab notebook/experiment records.
  • Handle molecular biology/DNA work related to genes of interest.
  • Process tissue culture and ELISA analyses.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
