In compliance with applicable State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 vaccine requirement are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption. Requests for medical exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved medical exemption is required to start work.

The Integrated Genomics Operation (IGO) enables basic, clinical, and translational research projects across the Cancer Center. IGO implements the MSK mission to cure cancer by providing a broad range of genomic services and expertise to our world-class research scientists. We are a high efficiency core facility producing >100TB of data per year across >40 applications including “fourth generation” of genomics technologies such as single cell and spatial transcriptomics.

The Sample & Project Management (SPM) team at IGO is currently seeking a Project Assistant. The SPM team collaborates with investigators to ensure swift and accurate accessioning and quality control (QC) of all samples received by IGO. This includes assisting with iLab navigation, facilitating seamless sample webform submissions, ensuring smooth processing, and keeping investigators informed of updates.

Pay Range $25.18-$37.75
