Programmer Analyst Jobs

• Accomplishes the credit union's mission by completing relevant duties as needed when requested by management or other staff members
• Collects and analyze information from multiple internal and external sources
• Builds requested, scheduled and batch reports
• Creates, alters and/or maintains application warehouse/database structure
• Provides database training support and trains users on custom applications
• Develops, tests, maintains and employs customized applications and databases to meet business needs
• Creates interfaces for monitoring data warehouse performance and installing upgrades and versions
• Recommends ways to increase data usage efficiency
• Diagnoses and resolves problems, including interaction with other Information Technology staff and vendors to do so
• Backs up other departmental staff as necessary
• Achieves a minimum of "Satisfactory " rating on internal audits and examinations
• Integrates and synchronizes conceptual data models to the logical/physical data model in the database tool
• Coordinates and installs databases and database-related software
• Tunes and assesses data warehouses, databases and applications
• Develops interfaces for the credit union's core system
• Implements data standards
• Researches and collaborates with vendors and external resources to assist in the process of data warehousing programming and maintenance
• Maintains and develops data warehouse databases and associated stored procedures, server agent jobs, and maintenance schedules
• Develops and implements code (scripts/queries) in order to streamline communication between software and databases and to improve staff processes for accessing the core system

Requirements

Associate's degree or 60 hours of post-secondary or technical education required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Substitution: Equivalent work experience beyond a high school diploma may be substituted for the Associate's degree requirement on a year-by-year basis. Three to five years of data warehousing, database design, programming or systems analysis or other relevant experience.

• Knowledge of SQL relational database programming and query languages
• Working knowledge and ability to learn application programming languages HTML, JavaScript, Crystal Reports, ASP.net, MVC.net, C#.net, Visual Studio, MSSQL, SSRS, SSIS, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and CSS
• Ability to express oneself clearly and articulately both orally and in writing
• Ability to make decisions and take initiative in problem resolution
• Knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, regulations and procedures
• Proficient software skills, such as Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated logical skills used in application and query design
• T-SQL, PHP, Crystal Reports, SQL Server 208 R2
• Ability to work with little supervision of daily activities
