The ACC/Delivery Systems Division is the division of the Cost Control and Quality Initiatives Office that is responsible for the design, administration, and oversight of the Accountable Care Collaborative (ACC) program and other population health and administrative programs. Within the ACC/Delivery Systems Division the Program Operations Section (POS) was created to manage the Regional Accountable Entity (RAE) contracts more efficiently for ACC Phase II. The POS contributes to the Division goals through administration of the RAE and MCO contracts, Enrollment Broker contract management, and programmatic system performance.

Within the POS, the Program Operations Unit (POU) is responsible for RAE and stakeholder relationship building, performance oversight, and contract management. POU will work closely with the Program Management Section (PMS), Data Analytics Section (DAS), Decision Support Systems (DSS), and any other Department staff necessary to achieve the goals of ACC/Delivery Systems.

We are onboarding new employees using a hybrid approach. The Department supports flexible work arrangements. Depending on the business need and description of the position, we have options that range from fully remote, hybrid, to full-time in the office. Specific discussions about the schedule will be discussed during the offer stage.

**Please note - equipment provisioning and certain onboarding tasks will take place in person, in our downtown Denver office, on the first day of employment.**

Description of Job

The position is the supervisor of the Program Operations Unit. The position provides recommendations to the Program Operations Section Manager and other staff that will improve capacity for programmatic administration required within the program management functions of the Section. The position is responsible for working with the Program Management Section, the ACC team, and other Department sections to implement the various policy changes required by the evolving program.

Responsibilities in this position include:

  • Responsible for the administrative management of the RAE contracts and the ACC program operations
  • Responsible for technical troubleshooting of operations issues related to contract monitoring and oversight
  • Collaborate with program specialists to ensure RAE performance
  • Areas of focus include RAE deliverable tracking and review, development of recurring management reports, and contract amendments
  • Utilize a strong attention to detail to develop project plans and processes for complex operations
  • Bridge policy and program design with operations
  • Communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external partners
  • Manage relationships with RAEs and other external stakeholders
  • Responsible for working with DSPI and other Department sections to implement the ACC
  • Implement quality control processes and process improvement around work products
  • Improve alignment between the ACC and other programs and payers

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment.

Four years of related professional experience.
