As a program manager on the Data, Tools and Products team you will be responsible for supporting the strategic direction for this fast-growing, transformational team by building our communication strategy.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Contribute to defining product performance and effectiveness metrics that measure and benchmark product success.
- Drives optimization and process improvements between product, design, and development teams.
- Create or advise on communications and presentations.
- Lead the design and migration to a centralized repository for internal team collaboration.
- Create or advise on content and communications across multiple Starbucks channels.
- Drive awareness of our data strategy, literacy, and data governance programs
- Develop and implement communications strategies across the organization.
- Collaborate with product managers to evolve product roadmaps
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong knowledge of agile development practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience working with data quality and metadata tools such as Collibra and Atacama
- Ability to influence others without authority to get things done in a timely fashion.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Consistently uses communications skills to influence outcomes.
- 7+ years of industry experience with a record of successfully implementing a communication strategy in support of business initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Technical knowledge in UI and UX best practices.
The pay range for this position may be narrower than that displayed, depending on where the work is performed.
