Data Strategy Associate Jobs

7+ years of industry experience with a record of successfully implementing a communication strategy in support of business initiatives.

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Consistently uses communications skills to influence outcomes.

Strong knowledge of agile development practices, methodologies, and tools.

Support the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data

Basic understanding of data management, database management systems, logical data modeling, and physical database development

Understanding of the principles, theories, practices and techniques of project management

Additional related education and/or experience preferred

May provide some technical coaching to business functions and less experienced peers

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

Superior implementation and project management skills are required

Collaborate with Service Lines, Operations, Finance and Marketing to develop a Technology Roadmap of enabling projects

Develop architecture and strategies to provide consistent consumer experience across all data and analytics platforms

Identify and manage technology vendors and key partnerships

Candidate has experience with rapid application or agile delivery methods

Experience selecting and managing vendors, contracts, and partnerships

Strong time management skills and attention to detail

Assist in vendor management (onboarding, contract reviews, assessments, scoping), handle budgets and financial forecasting.

Basic understanding of project management tools, including JIRA & Confluence

3+ years of experience in the media, digital or data analytics spaces

Media agency experience preferred but not required

Understand the balance between business-as-usual work and longer-term, strategic roadmap priorities and resource accordingly.

Deeply interested in application of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in finance, sales & marketing. Knowledge about BOTs, NLP a plus.

Prior experience in a corporate strategy in a financial services or consulting

Exceptional knowledge of financial services industry and understanding of business lines in IB

Educational background in Engineering or Technology

MBA in Finance/Marketing or equivalent required. CFA preferred.

Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to present findings to a non-technical audience

Proven project management experience in a strong interest in developing and managing cross-sector collaborations or collective action campaigns;

Bachelor’s or advanced degree or comparable experience in a relevant discipline with an emphasis on substantive or contextual knowledge;

Experience working on research and evaluation or developing data strategies and literacy of organizations;

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects concurrently, managing to tight deadlines, and communicating progress and results to multiple audiences;

Demonstrated leadership, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills;

K-12 education data across districts, regions and states to enhance informed decision-making, resource allocation, and individual access to education data
