We have an exciting opportunity for a Program Director experienced in Space Communications to lead the successful execution of a large program. In this role, you will manage and lead the overall program performance to include the budget, technical requirements, and schedules.

Along with a continuous curiosity to learn, grow professionally and lead the successful execution of a large program, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Utilize sound business judgement when making KBR-binding decisions
  • Understand and implement KBR policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Maintain open and transparent communications with Government and Commercial customers
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff
  • Chairs the Risk Management Board & serves as our Risk Manager, reviews all contract level risks, assigns Risk Owners, & assists in risk analysis & mitigation.
  • Accountable for contractual, technical, & administrative matters
  • Deliver and present all required materials at contract milestones with the Government
  • Drive follow-on and new business efforts with Government customers and KBR BD
  • Sets strategic program policy & establishes program goals & objectives with NASA Near Space Network stakeholders and customers
  • Manage a leadership team that oversees all Project Managers

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • 10 years' experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing large, technical programs for NASA
  • Experience managing large scale programs with 300+ personnel
  • PMP or PgMP certification
  • Experience managing budgets of $50M/annually
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 20 or Master’s Degree and 18 years' experience in Space Communications or similar field
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance or higher
