About this Position:
The Professional Recruitment Leader provides direction for the recruitment team to support internal business partners through strategy development, performance development, operational oversight, resource (associate and budget) management and metric management providing Honda companies with high quality diverse candidates that meet the business needs of our internal customers. The Professional Recruitment leader will also have overall responsibility for applicant tracking systems, and an ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments.
Responsibilities include:
- Elevate the candidate experience provided by the hiring team through thinking of new and engaging ways to attract, inspire and nurture talent
- Lead the Professional Recruitment Team by example, fostering a sense of inclusion and belonging by influencing and advising inclusive hiring culture. Consistently coach, mentor and develop team members, to reach their full potential
- Build a hiring strategy that meets the needs of the business, including diversity, talent brand, and operational excellence
- Understand the influence of Honda’s employment brand and build a plan to infuse this branding into all aspects of the recruitment process and associate experience
- Drive technology, process, and teamwork efforts to enhance the recruitment process and promote innovation and efficiency
- Partner with business leaders and align recruiting team to maximize successful hiring outcomes and best practices
- Utilize data and systems to educate, influence, and increase the overall volume of new critical talent in the Honda organization
Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:
- 5+ years Talent Acquisition
- 3+ years leadership experience
- 10+ years of overall HR experience
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience
Additional desired skills:
- Recruiting systems and process management
- Ability to develop HR Acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives
Additional Position Factors:
- Overtime as needed
- Domestic travel (25%)
- High volume, fast paced work environment
- Open office environment
