Essential Job Functions
- Administers individualized tests to students with accommodations
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Tutors students in the area of academic success skills (e.g. learning strategies, time management, etc.)
- Tutors students on specific course content, course-related readings and course-related written assignments
- Coordinates tutoring goals with advisers, academic counselors and faculty to effectively meet student needs
- Attends tutor training sessions and staff meetings, as applicable
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field of study
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with teaching/tutoring students with various learning styles and abilities
- Experience working with college students in entry-level through advanced accounting and finance courses
- Accounting and finance knowledge and experience, including financial and managerial accounting, personal budgeting and planning, as well as experience with accounting software
- Experience with teaching, professional tutoring or other related experience
Please note: Qualified candidates must live or relocate within a daily commuting distance of the Charlotte Campus location upon hire.
