The VNA is seeking a part time Telehealth Technician to work in our Indian River County Home Health division. This position is a generalist role providing technical and administrative support for the telehealth program. Working under close supervision by the Vice President of Clinical Services, or designee, will follow policies, procedures and processes established for setting up and disconnecting, teaching general instructions to client users (patients), and maintaining the use and condition of all telehealth equipment. Collaborate with members of home health and home office to deliver seamless service.

• Clean and maintain condition and operation of equipment
• Coordinate with telehealth vendor all technical support as needed
• Maintain client census, equipment usage and telehealth quality log, and other reports as needed to the VP of Clinical Services or designee
• Answer questions pertaining to general use, care and operation of equipment for client and staff and ensure a positive experience
• Assist with generating reports and other necessary data as requested by the Vice President of Clinical Services or designee
• Current and valid Florida driver’s license
• Field calls from clients and families regarding care of equipment. Direct all other calls to appropriate clinical managers and/or staff
• Initiate client teleheatlh chart
• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a technical school; or six months or more experience in related work, such as video conference, digital imaging, or digital photo or combination of education and experience
• Notify appropriate Patient Care Manager or Primary RN associated with the client
• Daily monitoring of telehealth data
• Analysis of statistical data a plus
• Current automobile insurance per VNA requirement
• Prepare equipment for training for client and staff
• Perform alert notification process including but not limited to
• Serve as primary contact to schedule teleheatlh installation and removal
• Demonstrate customer service to VNA staff, clients and vendors
• Perform diverse clerical and/or administrative duties for the clinical teams as assigned, and other telehealth related duties as directed by the Vice President of Clinical Services or designee
• Verify accuracy and inaccuracy of transmitted data
