We are a leading company in the Food manufacturing industry, seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual to demonstrate their leadership skills and expertise in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. They will also play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage production budgets and implement cost control measures.
• Develop and execute strategies for continuous improvement in all areas of production.
• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
• Drive initiatives to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost competitiveness.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Food (SQF), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Implement and maintain 5S Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
• Monitor production metrics and prepare regular reports on performance and progress.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to resolve production issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in relevant software applications and production management systems.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proven experience with 5S Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Possession of relevant certifications in these areas will be highly advantageous.
• Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, SQF, and HACCP standards.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role within the manufacturing or food-based industry.
