Overview:
As a Production Manager, your primary focus will be managing and coordinating the production of Childrenswear, ensuring all products are produced to specification and delivered on time. You will be responsible for production placement and tracking, working closely with internal cross-functional teams and external suppliers to meet our deliverables. The right candidate will demonstrate extreme attention to detail, analytical thinking, and eagerness to iterate on and implement new processes.
:
· Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
· Monitor production timelines detailed in the factory WIP report, troubleshoot any delays or issues that may arise during the production process and work with overseas factories to problem solve and create solutions.
· Communicate with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of goods and services affecting production.
· Work with the QA team to ensure that audit or any related QC issues are addressed and resolved promptly.
· Collaborate with cross-functional departments to troubleshoot and resolve production and/or quality issues.
· Ensures all Purchase Orders are sent out and delivered to and from the vendor on the date agreed and given.
· Interface with testing department on all bulk test reports and approvals
· Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.
· Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks to meet production goals.
Team Management:
· Lead and motivate the production team, providing guidance and support to achieve production goals and targets.
· Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs to enhance direct report capabilities and efficiency.
· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and innovation.
Skills and Qualifications:
· 6 or more years of experience in Production or product-management role
· Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or operations
· Extreme attention to detail & excellent communication skills
· Problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop solutions to overcome the issues.
· Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PLM. Knowledge in Simparel/Exenta is a plus.
