GIII also has licenses with the four major professional sports leagues, as well as over 100 U.S. colleges and universities. In addition, G-III currently designs, manufactures and markets an extensive range of apparel, including outerwear, dresses, sportswear, beachwear, women's suits and women's performance wear, as well as luggage and women's handbags, small leather goods and various accessories.
GIII Apparel Group is currently seeking a Production Manager to join its Eliza J/Vince Camuto team based in New York City!
Responsibilities
- Manage purchase order entry and purchase order updates throughout the production cycle.
- Work with logistics to ensure product is shipped on time.
- Create and distribute production status reports; follow-up with vendors, factories and Design/Technical design/ Sales team as needed
- Working under the directive of the Senior Production Manager, partner cross-functionally with Design, Technical Design, and Sales teams to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Communicate to vendors raw materials to be ordered for seasonal development, track progress throughout production cycle.
- Enter and maintain cost and status updates for each style; perform daily tracking of goods on order, in progress (WIP) and in-transit to ensure timely delivery according to production calendar.
Qualifications
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Highly detail oriented; Excellent follow up skills
- Computer Literate – Advanced Excel Skills
- Great organization and communication skills; team oriented
- Must have 3+ years of experience in dresses or women’s apparel
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
The pay range for this position is: $60K per year - $70K per year
