Production Manager, Dojo Production, Day Shift

Shift: Day shift

Monday - Friday 8 hour work day

• Provide support for new equipment installation, startup, and use
• Manage changes to design or process while maintaining production output
• Develop & maintain Standardized Work Instructions used in production by the production associates
• Manage space, facilities, workplace requirements as needed
• Innovate processes and procedures to streamline production activities on the production floor
• Empower the production team to collaborate with engineering to improve product manufacturability and line productivity
• Develop training and hiring plans for production associates
• Manage pilot production line from incoming material, assembly, test, and package out. Assemblies include mechanical structures, thermal and electrical distribution, and custom compute components
• Build a strong, motivated production team capable of consistently delivering high quality products against aggressive production targets
• Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & corrective action tracking

• Must understand general manufacturing processes, automation, and controls
• 7+ years of of production management experience (technical products preferred but not required)
• Ability to work with and develop production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs)
• BS in Technical discipline or evidence of exceptional experience preferred
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage diverse teams
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information
• 7+ years of experience directly managing teams of 10+ personnel
• Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
• Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills
• 7+ years of experience managing NPI/ramp up in a manufacturing setting
• Remain engaged, proactive and positive in tough circumstances, owning assignments and taking full accountability for their success
• Experience with assembly drawings, and technical work instructions
• Effective verbal and written communications skills along with strong attention to detail, flexibility, and prioritization
