NaphCare is hiring Licensed Social Worker or Counselor (LMSWs / LCSWs / LPCs / LMFTs/ etc.) just like you at the Polk County Jail in Des Moines, Iowa. Pay rates range per hour based on type of license, certification, Shift, FT, PRN, temporary contract, site needs, licensure, and experience.

Position Description

\

• Perform and document mental health evaluations, progress notes, individual and group counseling notes and suicide watch notes
• Coordinate with healthcare and security staff regarding patients\' mental health care and release dates
• Masters prepared candidate with active, unrestricted licensure as a (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, etc.)
• Demonstrate knowledge of DSM-V criteria
• 1 year experience preferred
• Participate in educational and training activities related to mental health care for patients, security personnel, and healthcare staff
