Apple Digital Support is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Product Manager to oversee a suite of applications in the AppleCare eCommerce space. These products enable our customers worldwide to add AppleCare+ coverage for eligible products. Topics of interest in this space include eCommerce best practices for customer experience, problem solving related to worldwide expansion, iOS and web-based development and payment network integrations. The Product Manager needs to have a solid understanding of standard software development processes as well as experience working with development teams. Product duties will rely on your ability to communicate priorities and product vision for consumption by various business teams and partners and to then understand and translate business priorities back to relevant technical teams.

Description

The perfect product manager is responsible for managing key features of the strategic roadmap for online and on-device sales of AppleCare products as well as representing the interests of AppleCare Digital leadership in coordination with the Business Development team, Human Interfaces (HI), Apple Media Products team and Apple Software Engineering team, among others. It will be important to develop and present a strong point of view on our team’s role in stewardship of the AppleCare+ ownership journey and to establish strong working relationships with our partners in engineering, business and UI/UX design. Our team will also act as the authority and champion for use of our sales platforms across Apple, working with teams such as Product Marketing and Apple Retail. It’s also critical to be fully engaged in problem solving related to the overall product vision and to communicate and inspire our closest engineering and business partners to deliver the results. Finally, this position requires knowledge of traditional Product Owner responsibilities in a Scrum team, including developing a compelling vision, managing product backlog, prioritizing needs and working with designers & software development teams to build and launch high quality features within tight timelines.

Education & Experience

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree (preferred) 2+ years of experience with cross-functional or agile software development projects Experience in an eCommerce, customer experience or support function
