Product Designer Jobs

We are looking for a Digital Product Designer with strong research and Experience Design background to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role requires collaboration with our stakeholders including: community members, organizations, Director of Engineering, Product Manager, and Software Engineers and will work directly with our leadership team to create and execute our growth strategy.

Responsibilities
• Research: lead our user research, testing, and feedback efforts
• Experience Design: develop personas, empathy maps, journey maps, service blueprints, wireframes,etc.
• Interaction Design: design flows, prototyping, general functionality, familiarity with web and native design languages
• Communicate product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for our products.
• Design and deliver on a wide range of devices and interfaces including iOS devices, Android devices, and web browsers
• Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate on designs
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Communicate ideas effectively throughout the organization
• Lead discovery and design workshops
• Help identify and resolve issues to ensure we always maintain a “best-in-class” experience
• Remain mission-driven in each strategy discussed, each task completed, and each success celebrated
• Embody servant leadership and be considerate and empathetic with our team members, customers, partners, and members
• Help guide, build and grow the people you work with

Desired Experiences and Qualifications
• 5+ years’ experience working in Experience Design
• Experience and comfort having empathetic personal conversations with team members, customers, partners, members, etc.
• Ability to “Seek first to understand, before being understood”
• Ability to design collaboratively and a healthy appreciation for asking and answering “why?”
• Ability to be hands-on and work with others in all aspects of our organization
• Ability to manage time wisely across projects and competing priorities, meet agreed upon deadlines, and be accountable for work
• Thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment with a proven ability to adapt
• Strong communicator —written, verbal, visual, etc.
• Experience building outstanding teams and a strong enthusiasm for celebrating the individual and collective successes each week in pursuit of our mission
• Proficiencies with, and understanding of, various design and collaboration tools (Adobe Suite, Sketch, InVision, Figma, Skype, Slack, etc.). Ability to pick up and learn new tools as needed is greatly appreciated.
