Job Type: Full Time/ Permanent
Work Schedule: Typically Monday – Thursday, 8am - 5pm & Friday 8am to 3:30pm (OT based on business needs – When traveling overseas, must work days per week/12 hr shifts)
Rate of Pay: Hourly competitive wages (DOE)
We are in search of Product Designers that will work with the BrandTech team to assist with and, at times, lead the development of new products. Development will include the design, testing, prototyping, sourcing and manufacturing of the final product. The role includes, but is not limited to, the following duties.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Procure components to support construction of prototypes and full production of units.
• 3-D printing of prototypes of new products.
• Test designs to ensure they will work safely and effectively in the field operations.
• Coordinate engineering requests from Divisions and customers.
• Implement engineering requests from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with the operations team for feedback on new products and integrate into revisions of the design.
• Communication with the business to understand the Design, with CAD and/or Solid Works.
• Create designs to meet the requirements of the parameters outlined during the scoping phase.
• Product designs may be a combination of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and computer controls. A wide range of knowledge of these types of systems is beneficial. Mechanical and electrical experience is preferred.
• Track delivery schedules of components to ensure timely delivery to meet production schedules.

Skills & Experience

• Must have strong computer skills especially using Microsoft Office Suite products. CAD skills required and experience with Solid Works in highly desirable.
• One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience would be beneficial but not necessary.
• Analytical Skills and ability to solve complex problems
• 2 year Associates or technical degree, Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university is preferred.
• Must have excellent communication skills – especially verbal – with team members at all company levels.
