Engagement Manager/Associate Principal – Product & Portfolio Strategy

KRS-Associate are currently retained by a high-growth, global Life sciences consultancy who are currently looking to expand their already established strategy consulting practice in NYC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management and Development: Take on supervisory responsibilities, including mentoring and guiding junior consultants. They may also participate in recruiting efforts to identify and hire top talent. Additionally, they play a role in the professional development of team members, helping them grow their skills and expertise.
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. This includes understanding the clients' business challenges and needs, providing strategic insights and recommendations, and working closely with clients to ensure that the consulting services provided align with their goals.
• Project leadership: take a lead role in managing consulting projects. This involves overseeing project teams, setting project goals, timelines, and budgets, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, and maintaining communication with clients to address their needs and concerns.

Candidate Requirements:

• Exceptional organisational/management skills.
• Great leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Fantastic market expertise within the life sciences industry.
• 5-7 years in a life sciences advisory role (preferably with a reputable firm) focusing on Product & Portfolio strategy.
• Advanced life sciences degree (PhD/MBA/PharmD) preferred but not required.
