Application Manger, Savory (Food Ingredients)

Client:

Novaris search are partnered with a Global Food and Beverage Ingredient provider, who are looking to hire an Application Manager to be responsible for providing technical leadership for Savory applications.

This individual will collaborate with regional technical teams to validate new formulations and innovative ingredient solutions. You will develop a team of scientists.

Role:

• Develop new Savory formulation by leveraging industrial expertise to
• Develop and commercialize new ingredients and technologies.
• Manage relationships across region and global teams in the Savory category.
• Grow and develop a team of technical professionals.
• Work collaboratively to develop and implement a technical strategy, identifying and bringing new ingredients to market for Savory applications.
• Provide Savory category leadership.

Requirements:

• Technical skills with the ability to act as SME
• 8 to 10+ years in food formulation/ product development
• Ingredient Knowledge of starches, hydrocolloids and other texturizers, specialty sweeteners and plant-based protein.
• Experience in Food Research
• MS/PhD in Food Science, Food Process Engineering, or closely related field
• Ability to coach and build team capabilities.
• Product development experience in Savory category application segments (e.g., sauces, dressings).
