Job Description

We are actively recruiting the role of President for a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm that works as a Turnkey Asset Management Program (TAMP) for Investment Advisors (IARs) all across the country.


Currently they have $1.5B in AUM, up about 3x in the last four years.


Experience Needed:

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
  • Efficient time management and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership/management experience in the securities/investment industry required focused on operations, sales and technology preferred.
  • Exceptional problem determination skills with a high attention to detail
  • Experience running day to day operations within related business
  • Strategic thinker with proven history of growing and scaling a wealth mangement firm
  • Deep understanding of systems, processes and service models pertaining to independent advisory practices
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Ability to interact with all personality types and with all levels of staff
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent understanding of the financial services industry particularly relating to independent advisors, RIA’s, IAR’s and a good working knowledge of current trends.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the message to current and prospective clients regarding marketing, business strategies, successes and initiatives in various manners including live presentations, webinars, email and other forms of communication.
  • Work through direct reports to manage all aspects of the business on a daily basis; Sales, Operations, Compliance, Technology and Service.
  • Provide strategic and tactical direction which supports the delivery of firm’s objectives as a part of their overall offering to clients.
  • Publically represent company and outside events, speaking to audiences when required.
  • Provide leadership to all staff in a manner supportive of company culture. Motivating and rewarding performance, growing and developing staff and resolving conflicts that arise.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with producers, investors, vendors and business partners.
  • Create the vision for effective growth strategies in a manner supportive of overall business, develop, implement and deliver those strategies.
  • Manage financials to include P & L, payroll and other expenses.
  • Work with ownership to set goals, objectives and overall direction for the business.
