RVO Health is a joint venture formed via a partnership between Red Ventures, one of the world's premier digital and consumer analytics companies, and Optum, one of the largest healthcare providers in the world.

As the President of Healthgrades, you will be responsible for setting strategy, overseeing operations and maintaining client and industry relationships. Reporting to the Executive Leader of RVO Health's Healthcare Services Division you will lead this organization's continued advancement as the industry leader in measuring and recognizing quality of care, connecting consumers to the top providers and delivery systems, and driving consumer engagement as they make some of the most important care decisions they will make. We are looking for a leader who will inspire greatness in the team and advance our winning workplace experience, use deep industry knowledge to guide growth through accelerated product development and market expansion, and drive continued excellence in service quality and bottom line business performance via disciplined operations.

What You'll Do

  • Guide a High-Performing Team. You will lead a team of ~200 employees. The current structure is composed of 7 direct reports including market-oriented General Managers and functional leaders. You will also have matrixed accountability for 2 dedicated but centrally-managed teams responsible for Tech/Engineering, FP&A as well as shared teams accountable for Legal.
  • Develop a vision. We are a company rich in history and high on future ambition. While we are proud of the work we do and the people we serve, we know we are capable of doing even more in healthcare. You will be accountable for helping lead the creation of the vision for the next generation of Healthgrades.
  • Create and Inspire a Connected Community. We believe that if we're building the health and wellbeing platform of the future, we must embrace and nurture health and wellbeing in how we operate. You will inspire the best in others by connecting teams, strategies, and stakeholders across RVO Health and across our partnership with Optum. You will play a critical role in ensuring our company values show up in all we do at Healthgrades.
  • Create a Strategy and Operating Plan. You will be responsible for creating the strategy and operating plan that guides the business's approach to strengthen its core positions while galvanizing our future. Strategy elements include all the traditional elements of a formal business planning strategy such as vision, tactics and operating plan (goals, milestones, resources, roadmaps, etc.).

What We're Looking For

  • 15+ years in progressive leadership roles (President, CEO, COO, etc.) overseeing strategic and operating management at scaled organizations
  • 10+ years of demonstrated success managing a diverse digital portfolio from early stage development/launch to leading multiple scaled product and development teams simultaneously
  • Deep understanding of the competitive landscape in media as well as healthcare – competitor strategies, positioning, strengths, and weaknesses Strong analytical bend with ability to assess ROI effectiveness
  • A true growth-stage leader - one who loves that every day is different where no task is too small; an entrepreneurial spirit that is flexible, experimental, and resourceful
  • Exposure and understanding of product and digital marketing practices with the ability to drive business KPIs
  • Appreciation for design and an ability to translate consumer needs into compelling experiences and products
  • Demonstrated ability to provide authority and accountability to teams, build a high energy workplace experience and inspire employees toward achieving goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to run a P&L including budgeting, financial analysis, resource allocation and monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare and/or health related media
  • Knowledge of the software development process, experience with requirements management, and complex projects and activities.
  • Ability to attract and develop top talent and foster a workplace culture of mentorship and advancement
  • Proven experience operating at the highest level of ethics and integrity and ability to earn followership and be an active and collaborative thought partner across the team, RVO Health and the industry.
  • Ability to clearly communicate at all levels of an organization from Board of Directors to company interns and act as our spokesperson with media outlets, trade associations, etc.

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.
