Job Description

The Post-Production Assistant (PA) is an entry-level temporary position. To be considered, candidates MUST have strong technical knowledge and organizational abilities. Individuals must be eager to learn, stellar communicators & team members, organized, and most importantly, problem solvers. The person in this role will help ensure all postings, and deliverables are met with a high standard of quality.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with footage transfers for projects
  • Quality controlling client postings and deliverables
  • Media management and asset tracking
  • Going on office & production runs
  • Assisting Post-Production department
Core Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Technological troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Very good organizational skills required
  • Must own a car
  • Must reside in Los Angeles
  • Sharp attention to detail. You will perform quality control on all assets, renders, and masters. You will assist with the delivery of finished materials to their end destination.
Prefer candidates with:
  • Technical proficiency in Premiere
  • Ability to convert media to editable formats and correct frame rates.
  • A general interest in gaming as you will be interfacing with gameplay assets.
  • 1 year of editorial experience preferred and/or studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Film/TV
  • Technical knowledge of digital video codecs and encoding software.
Benefits
  • $25/hr - $28/hr
