POST PRODUCER

Successful nationally syndicated television court shows seek a Post Producer. This producer must be able to work with editors on multiple episodes at once, ensuring deadlines are met. Producer will oversee cuts from start to finish and write episodic voice overs. Must have strong creative skills and know how to enhance the story and build themes. Must be able to watch down a cut in the office before delivery to ensure there are no flaws. Applicants should be detailed-oriented and well-organized self-starters that can work independently, with an energetic and creative mindset. This full-time position is local to Los Angeles and has a hybrid work schedule.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Establish and manage short and long-term project timelines, and ensure commitments are delivered on schedule at the required quality level.
• Foster a culture of high performance and commitment to quality.
• Work with multiple editors at a time ensuring they meet their deadlines and oversee cuts from start to finish.
• Maintain the delivery schedules and keep development on track through effective communication and collaboration.
• Identify risks and pain points for the team and identify solutions.
• Ensure that teams are operating in a manner consistent with established protocols.
• Must be able to watch down a cut before delivery to ensure there are no flaws.
• Must have strong creative skills and know how to enhance stories and build themes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must be self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-oriented setting
• Must have a high attention to detail, be well organized, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong team player who can demonstrate diplomacy and ability to work well with others
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude
• Prior experience with an Entertainment Company/Studio is a plus
• BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferred
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
